Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As Lifewell’s IT Application Developer, you will be the primary software and database developer. You will be responsible for writing clean, testable code using .NET programming languages for the desktop, web and mobile devices. You will maintain legacy desktop applications, services and websites, correcting reported issues. You will also provide production support and assistance to staff members by analyzing and solving problems. 
 
 In this position, you will be able to implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies.

Skills / Requirements

  • A High School Diploma/GED 
  • Minimum of:
    • 5 years experience writing code using .NET languages (C#, VB.net); using Visual Studio, managing Nuget packages and VS extensions; building applications using the .NET framework; building web sites and/or APIs using ASP.NET Core; unit testing and debugging .NET applications and experience with relational database development using Microsoft SQL Server.
    • 3 years experience with providing production support for desktop and web applications; maintaining technical documentation and user guides and using Azure DevOps Server / Team Foundation Server.
  • Experience with any of the following is preferred but not required:
    • Consuming third party APIs or web services; developing Windows services for unattended processing; developing mobile applications for Android using Xamarin Forms; SSIS package development and ETL concepts; Familiarity with HIPAA X12 transactions; Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO); ComponentOne controls and Crystal Reports
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Background Check
  • Minimum one year recovery from drugs and/or alcohol
  • Minimum typing speed of 35 wpm
  • A current Arizona Driver License and a current satisfactory 39-month Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
